The 120 Series Pant is made from 3 layers, 2 of those layers being Fire Retardant Cotton, which is a relatively heavy material. The Chevron-5 Pant is made from 2 layers of Nomex®, which is a lighter weight material. This means the Chevron-5 Pant is not only lighter overall, but much cooler to wear on hot days. What the Chevron-5 and the 120 do have in common are the SFI 3.2A/5 rating and RaceQuip's durable quality, which includes a heavy duty brass zipper.
